Sean VanderVliet
After nearly 15 years of throwing pottery as a hobby and in school, in 2017 Sean VanderVliet founded Fenway Clayworks and made the jump to become a full time ceramic artist. The goal of Fenway has been the same since the beginning— to make beautiful, functional ceramics worthy of a place in one's home; ceramics that people can enjoy over time and pass on for generations to come.
For us it's about building a legacy brand. A brand that stands for quality, and remains timeless. A brand that supports the design and ceramics community and celebrates the interaction between the two.
As a kid growing up in northern New England, Sean had the opportunity to see some small brands with tight knit teams grow into successful businesses. Bringing that same idea to Denver is what inspires us to keep moving forward.
The Team
Jessie Concannon
I'm joining the team with a background in studio management, world traveling, and making pottery. I love bringing hidden joys to my ceramic work, Rilo Ceramics.
William Duvall
I am a self-described mud slinger from Maryland that believes everyone has an art. Mine is pottery. I am a lifelong learner and spent the past few years traveling around the world to learn from other potters and artists - most recently to Japan.
Paul Duffy
Paul has a fine woodworking background and in his free time works on his own project, Duffy Designs. When he's not at the lathe or sanding boards, he's on a river.
